River Rat

Anyone tried the River Rat yet?

Had a very nice lunch there recently. The food is excellent, with small details such as the quality of olive oil and balsamic vinegar and soda bread to enjoy while we waited for the rest of our party. Very tasty indeed. As it was Sunday we opted for roasts after the starter, as a cook I've not tasted better, plus veg that weren't soggy or undercooked. 4 of us and a tired 2 year old were kept wined and dined by staff with work ethic and attention to detail too. Will definitely go back soon.
